All kinds of terrific attractions, including art museums, galleries, and unusual sights, are located in or just outside Lewisburg. A busy downtown area is supported by nonprofits and volunteers, offering a full social calendar.

Lewisburg is just one mile north of the Greenbrier River, one of West Virginia's longest rivers. The Greenbrier is known for light tackle and fly fishing, with anglers coming from all over the region to challenge the abundant smallmouth bass. Canoeing and kayaking are both popular.
